ID REQUIREMENTS + MINORS

Minors must be at least 6 years old to get their earlobes pierced, and at least 15 years old for any other piercing. Please read our ID requirements thoroughly to ensure you arrive prepared.

  • Physical IDs are required for everyone being pierced, including minors. This ID must include your photo, full name, and date of birth (state ID, passport, drivers license, etc). Yearbook photos are not accepted as a form of ID. We cannot accept photos of IDs or other documents, you must physically have the ID.

  • Minors between the ages of 15-17 must bring photo ID that includes their photo, full name, and birth date. If the minor does not have a state issued ID, we will also accept a school ID with their full name and photo along with their birth certificate.

  • Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian, and we require proof of relationship to the guardian signing for them, which would include matching last names and addresses on state issued IDs, a birth certificate, adoption paperwork, or valid custody paperwork. Non-legal guardians cannot sign for minors, no exceptions.

  • We do not offer any services except earlobes on anyone under 15, no exceptions.

  • Minors between the ages of 6-14 must have a physical copy of their birth certificate and be accompanied by a parent on the birth certificate with ID.

  • We will not pierce nipples or genitals on anyone under 18, even with parental consent. Absolutely no exceptions, ever.

  • Failure to come prepared with proper ID or attempting to bring a minor you do not have legal guardianship over to a piercing appointment will result in a $20 cancellation fee for each service.

If you need to cancel outside of business hours, you can also email us at pierceme@cowpok.com. IF YOU CANCEL VIA EMAIL, your cancellation email must include your full name and the date, time, and location (Elmwood or Williamsville) of the appointment you wish to cancel. • A credit card will be required to hold your appointment. Debit cards will not be accepted. Your card will only be charged if you do not follow the policies above, and you can use a different method of payment for your service during your appointment.

  • The $20 cancellation fee applies to each service booked if you come late, unprepared, or not at all to your appointment. This means if you booked an appointment for a conch, a nostril, and a helix piercing, you will be charged $60 in cancellation fees for showing up late or unprepared, as an example. This fee is nonrefundable, and there will be no exceptions.

GENERAL

  •  An appointment is required for entry into the studio. This includes shopping for jewelry.

  • Appointments must be booked through our website. We cannot book appointments for you over the phone or via email to avoid double booking.

  • Please be sure to read your confirmation email carefully and be mindful of the date, time, and location of your appointment. You will be charged a cancellation fee and we may not be able to assist you if you go to a different location than you booked an appointment with.

  • Due to scheduling confusion in the past, we strongly advise against letting friends or family members book appointments on your behalf, or scheduling appointments on the behalf of others. If you do book on behalf of someone else, please direct anyone with an appointment to read this page to avoid confusion and potential fees, and forward all confirmation emails to them as they will be responsible for any fees incurred from being unprepared.

  • We open our schedule two weeks at a time, so if you’re not seeing any availability, the dates are either fully booked or not yet open for booking, so check back closer to your desired date.

  • We do not offer returns or exchanges on jewelry, service fees, or cancellation fees, all sales are final.

  • One person per appointment. Due to scheduling limitations, we often can’t honor appointments that have been booked for multiple people in a single appointment slot, so be sure to book separate appointments.

  • Masks are optional at this time.

  • Be kind. Raising your voice or being disrespectful to our staff for any reason will result in forfeiture of your appointment, being charged any associated cancellation fees, and you will be asked not to return to our studio.
