What makes your jewelry different?

Our jewelry is guaranteed for life! We carry steel, titanium and solid 14k and 18k gold ends. These materials are offered by world class body jewelry manufacturers and are made with the utmost care and attention to detail, making them super comfortable for internal, long term wear that won’t leave your skin irritated and sore. We proudly stand by all of the pieces we carry, and have included our staffs’ hand picked and curated favorites to put on our online store - a tiny glimpse in to the hundreds of options we have in our studios. Located in downtown Buffalo and Williamsville in New York, all packages are fulfilled in store with care and accuracy by our wonderful stylists.

Is the online inventory the same as the in person inventory?

Nope! Our webstore inventory is separate from the inventory at our two physical studio locations, so while it is a good way to reference pricing and general selection or shop from the comfort of home, this is not at all meant to be a catalogue of what we have in the studios. To view our in studio collection at either location, book a jewelry shopping/styling appointment here and a stylist will be happy to go over all the options for you!

How does the jewelry work? Can I put it in myself?

We have a few styles of jewelry, so we're glad you asked! We’ve broken it down in to a few categories below:

Threadless ends + posts: pins should be bent slightly and slide in to our hollow threadless barbells and securely “snap” together because of the tension of the bent pin. One decorative end + one barbell create one full piece of jewelry. These are sold separately. If you notice your ends are coming out of their barbells easily, you may need to bend the pin more to create a secure fit. ALL ENDS ARE SOLD INDIVIDUALLY, UNLESS SPECIFICALLY STATED OTHERWISE.

Threaded ends + barbell shafts + backs: Internally threaded ends are compatible with our 14g threaded barbell shafts, disks and balls (all sold individually). The ends all screw together. Three separate pieces (decorative end + barbell shaft + ball/disk) combine to make one full piece of jewelry. These are sold separately.

Nostril nails: To insert, twist the ring gently open as to not disturb the shape of the ring. These are great for nostril piercings, giving the look of both a stud and a ring. All styles are best and safest installed by a professional.

Seam rings: These decorative rings are great for many placements. Navel orientation rings work for rook, nostrils, helixes and traguses. Nipple orientation works great for daith and septum piercings. Ultimately - it is up to the wearers preference. They bend open into an “S” shape, don’t try to pull them open into a “C” shape.

Hinged rings or “clickers”: These rings’ wearing surface have a hinge that swings a portion of the ring open, is inserted, and then “snapped” shut securely making a full ring design with no need to bend the piece open like seam rings. Clickers can be worn most places that seam rings can.

Although some people are able to insert jewelry on their own, we always suggest visiting a professional piercer to assist you to ensure it is installed securely and correctly. You can find someone near you by using the Find a Member tool on www.safepiercing.org.

Help! i’m not sure what size i wear.

Please feel free to reach out to us for assistance on sizing via email - however - it is always best left for a piercer to assess in person! Utilize the Find a Member tool at www.safepiercing.org to help locate a piercer near you. Knowing your size is important - as there are no returns or exchanges on any of our pieces.

Remember - one size rarely fits all especially in the desired way. Buying jewelry is like buying jeans - even if you and your friends wear the same size, it can all fit differently.

When will my order ship? How can i track it?

All orders are shipped within 5-7 business days via UPS ground. Need something rushed? Please email us before making a purchase to see if we can accommodate your time constraints. When your piece is shipped, we will email you a confirmation and tracking information.

In the unfortunate event that a package is lost in the mail, please reach out to UPS directly with your tracking information as they are responsible for lost packages once they leave our hands.

I need some extra advice.

We can help! Some styles require a little more thought than just dropping them in your online cart - the same goes for custom pieces. We have multiple stylists on staff that are able to assist by reaching out via email at cowpokwebstore@gmail.com. Please reach out before purchasing an item if you are unsure it’ll work for what you want it to!

Do you ship Outside of the US?

Currently our online store only caters to clients within the continental United States - however, if you reach out to us it is likely we are able to ship to you!

Can I pick up my order in store if i’m local?

We do offer in store pickup at our Elmwood location when you choose the in store pickup option at checkout! Please remember that it still takes us a little bit of time to get your order together and to the store as webstore inventory is not kept on site; you’ll receive a second email confirmation when your order arrives at Elmwood and at that point you can call the studio during business hours to arrange pick up. The whole process typically takes about 48 hours.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

Due to the nature of body jewelry, for the health and safety of our clients we cannot accept returns or exchanges on jewelry purchases for any reason. All sales are final, so be sure to reach out with any questions you have and we’ll be happy to assist!
