What is permanent jewelry?

Permanent jewelry (sometimes also called “forever” jewelry) is a custom fit chain welded around your wrist, ankle, or neck without a clasp, so every piece is a perfect fit and you never have to take it off! The welding process itself is completely painless and the whole appointment generally takes about fifteen to twenty minutes.

Please note - due to seasonal attire like thick socks and winter boots and the delicate nature of solid 14k gold, we only offer anklets during the summer months.

What does it cost?

We charge a $30 welding fee for the first chain, plus the cost of the chain you choose! All chains are solid 14k gold, never gold fill or sterling silver, making them durable enough to swim with, sleep in, and go on all your adventures with without fear of your chains tarnishing or irritating your skin.

Bracelets (not including the welding fee) for bracelets can range from $65 - $350+.

Anklets can range from $80 - $450+.

Necklaces can range from $145 - $550+.

We also carry an array of solid gold and genuine stone charms that range from $40-$200+.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes, appointments are required! You can book on this page!

Where are the appointments?

At CowPok Elmwood, located at 111 Elmwood Avenue! Look for a large brick building with an iron gate, right next door to Moxie Hair Salon.

THE DEPOSIT

When you book an appointment, you will be required to pay your $30 welding fee as a deposit to hold your appointment. This will cover the service fee (you’ll pay for your jewelry during your appointment) and is non-refundable. Make sure you hang on to your confirmation email, as you will be able to reschedule or cancel your own appointment through your confirmation email. You will not receive your deposit back if you cancel, but you can reschedule your appointment to another time and your deposit will carry over.

Please remember that Spark appointments are only offered at COWPOK ELMWOOD.

Please note that permanent jewelry appointments are only approximately 15 minutes long. If you are more than five minutes late to your appointment, we will not have time to complete your service and you will forfeit your deposit.

How do I remove the jewelry?

Scissors, nail clippers and in a pinch - normal scissors. Try your best to cut on the round jump ring!

Can we come together?

Absolutely! Please book separate appointments for each person to ensure we have enough time to accommodate everyone, and each person will need to leave their own deposit.

Is there an age limit?

Due to the delicate nature of gold, we recommend this service primarily for older children/teens and adults.

Can I bring my own charm?

Absolutely! We have a small collection of charms for sale to choose from during your appointment as well, but we are happy to attach one of your own instead for a $15 fee.

What are ‘piercing chains’?

Bracelets and necklaces aren’t all we can do! We can also create cute, customizable chain bundles and attachments in custom lengths for your body piercings. Nostril and industrial chains are our most popular, but there are a ton of different fun things we can do together! Please note that all piercings must be fully healed before we can add chains to them.

ALl chains are final sale. we do not accept returns, exchanges and do not offer refunds for lost chains. gold is high quality, but softer - so care is up to the responsibility of the wearer.
